Attacked in her home by a masked man, Leblanc keeps the event to herself as she attempts to discover the identity of her assailant. Gradually working her way through her friends, family, neighbours and colleagues, Leblanc undergoes a sexual awakening that threatens to consume her and many of those around her.

Verhoeven creates a bonfire of a movie that scrutinizes and satirizes the unholy alliance between sex and violence. You can't take your eyes off the fearless Isabelle Huppert.
